I am the Chief Architect and Co-Founder of UnboundID Corp. in Austin, TX, working to develop next-generation directory services. I am also a developer for the Directory Server, Directory Proxy Server, and LDAP SDK for Java products. Visit the UnboundID website at http://www.unboundid.com/.

Before UnboundID, I was a directory services engineer at Sun Microsystems, where I was the architect and lead developer for the OpenDS project, and was heavily involved with the C-based Directory Server Enterprise Edition product. While at Sun, I also created the SLAMD Distributed Load Generation Engine, which is a popular tool for performance analysis and benchmarking of LDAP directory servers and other network applications. Before Sun, I held positions at Netscape Communications (lead technical support engineer for the Netscape/iPlanet Directory Server), TidePoint Corporation (developer and directory server administrator), and Caterpillar, Inc. (developer, directory server administrator, and web server administrator).

I spend most of my time writing code. When I'm not doing that, I'm a pretty frequent moviegoer (usually at the Alamo Drafthouse), and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and other sports.
